At the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership’s Annual Meeting, we had the privilege of celebrating a moment that was both deeply personal and profoundly significant for Rankin County. Tom Troxler, longtime Executive Director of the Rankin First Economic Development Authority, was presented with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award a recognition that reflects decades of service, vision, and impact.
For more than 30 years, Tom has been a driving force behind the growth and progress of Rankin County. His leadership has helped shape our region into a vibrant, competitive destination for business and community development. From recruiting transformative companies to supporting infrastructure investments and building lasting partnerships, Tom’s steady guidance has left a legacy that reaches well beyond Rankin County lines.
Those who have worked alongside Tom know that his impact isn’t just measured in job creation or capital investment it’s measured in relationships. It’s in the way he brought people together, led with humility, and remained focused on what mattered most: strengthening the future of our community.
This award is a well-deserved recognition of that commitment. It celebrates not just a career, but a mission one built on collaboration, perseverance, and purpose.
From all of us at Rankin First and across Rankin County, congratulations, Tom. Your leadership has made a lasting difference, and we are so grateful for the foundation you’ve built.
